When I first moved here to SD, I found out about the Dragon Boats. I immediately signed up to paddle with the team. At the time, I had no idea that "paddling" goes forward and "rowing" goes backward. Our team competes big time. Needless to say, I was a novice BUT within a year, our team went to Toronto and YES, we won a gold metal Internationally. That was THEN.
TODAY I ride bikes. I am a member of a bicycle group called...Get Off Your Rockers. But don't be fooled, this is not old foggy stuff. We ride aprox, 15 miles most Mondays from different locations. Also do long distant rides as special events. The Rockers also has many other activities- a variety of sports and activities from sailing to traveling. Please check out their website.

LOVE TO SING I have been a part of a chorus for 30 years. Pacific Coast Harmony- on the Central Coast always put on great shows! We always competed too. And had Santa
at all our Christmas shows. But I moved. That was THEN.
We are a mixed chorus singing four-part A Capella harmony. We meet on Monday nights at...St. Helen's Greek Church in Cardiff.
The chorus often has GUEST NIGHTS. We compete at local, district and sometimes International competitions. Always with the goal of vocal improvement. Please check our website for current information.

This historic aircraft carrier is docked right here in San Diego. I volunteer in the Safety Department and love it.
Oh and the Midway also has holiday fun called JINGLE JETS the whole month of December each year. There are over one million lights, wonderful decorations and maybe even Santa and the Grinch!
